How does Veristyle optimize my products?

Veristyle uses advanced AI to analyze your product descriptions, images, and attributes. We add physical trait descriptors (200+ data points), Kibbe body type classifications, color season analysis, and conversational query optimization to make your products discoverable by AI shopping assistants like ChatGPT.

What are GEO scores?

GEO (Guided Experience Optimization) scores measure how well your products are optimized for AI discovery. Scores range from 0-100 based on completeness of descriptions, image quality, attribute richness, and conversational language optimization.

How often are my product feeds updated?

Feeds update automatically within 15 minutes whenever products change (create, update, or delete). This ensures AI shopping assistants always have your latest inventory and pricing.

What data does Veristyle access?

We access: product data (titles, descriptions, images, variants), order data (for revenue tracking), and minimal customer demographics (aggregated only). We never access payment information. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Do I need to submit feeds manually to OpenAI?

No! Veristyle generates feeds that are immediately accessible via HTTPS URLs. You can provide these URLs directly to OpenAI or other AI platforms. The feeds are always up-to-date and meet all OpenAI commerce requirements.

Where can I find my product feeds?

Go to the Feed Management tab in your Veristyle dashboard. You'll see all available feed formats with copy-able URLs and a compliance report.

What if my optimization gets stuck?

If optimization progress stalls:

• Check the optimization status in your dashboard
• Ensure your Shopify store has products with descriptions
• Wait 5-10 minutes for background processing to complete
• Contact support if the issue persists beyond 30 minutes

Can I disable automatic updates?

Yes! Go to Feed Management → Update Schedule and toggle off "Enable automatic feed updates". You can manually trigger updates anytime.

How do I uninstall Veristyle?

Simply uninstall from your Shopify admin under Apps. Your data will be automatically marked as inactive, and product analysis data is deleted within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.

Products not showing in feed

Solution: Ensure products have:

• A title and description (at least 50 characters recommended)
• At least one image
• At least one variant with a price
• Status set to "Active" in Shopify

Low GEO scores

Solution: Improve your scores by:

• Adding detailed product descriptions (100+ words)
• Including physical attributes (material, fit, style)
• Adding high-quality images (multiple angles)
• Using descriptive tags and categories
• Specifying color, size, and style details

OAuth installation issues

Solution: If installation fails:

• Ensure you're logged in as the store owner
• Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app
• Clear your browser cache and cookies
• Check that your Shopify plan supports third-party apps
